Thunder Bay Vineyards was established in the little town of Ossineke in 2004. The first vines were planted in 2005. In the vineyard we grow 12 varieties of grapes, along with apples, pears, cherries, and currants. Thunder Bay Winery was established and opened in Alpena in 2012. The Petoskey tasting room opened in 2021.

Dean Wiltse has been brewing the finest beer since 1995, he has the 3rd oldest brewing license in the State of Michigan and the oldest brewing license in Northern Michigan. Dean's beer is, and many would agree, the finest beer in the state. From Huron Out honors Dean, and his beer and will continue to serve Wiltse's beer as long as he will brew it.
